House Centipede

This centipede has been introduced to most continents. Although it looks creepy, it is harmless and quite small (~1 inch body length). Its larger cousins can be found in caves.

The most difficult thing in creating this arthropod is to make a base with the correct number (15 pairs) of legs of gradually increasing length, and having a foldable base. Please see my origami page: [link] for the crease pattern.
